Travel Seasons & Climate

Travel Seasons & Climate Monate

The best time to travel to Kenya is between July and October. This is the dry season, with pleasant weather and excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing. In the Masai Mara, the “Great Migration” takes place in August and September.

December to March is also a good time to visit, especially for beach holidays along the coast. The short rains from October to November usually bring brief showers and refresh the landscapes with lush greenery.

The long rainy season from March to May can bring heavy downpours. Some roads become difficult to navigate, and certain lodges may close. However, this time of year offers particularly beautiful scenery and fewer tourists.
